FAQ's

Our Frequently Asked Questions are here to assist with the most common questions we are asked by our clients.

Contact

We have two options available to book an appointment. You can call our clinic at 406-478-6887 and speak to a team member. You can book an appointment directly from our website by clicking on the “Request appointment” button or located at the lower right corner of this browser window.

Please bring any previous medical records, a list of your pet’s current medications, and any questions or concerns you’d like to discuss. For dogs, bring a leash; for cats or small mammals, a secure carrier is recommended. You can also visit our website and fill out a New Client/Patient form which can be found Here

Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00

We are closed Saturday and Sunday to allow our care team to enjoy time with family, friends as well as their own pets so they feel rested, rejuvenated and ready to care for our patients’ every need during the work week.

If your pet has an emergency during office hours, come to the clinic right away and we will triage your pet. If it is after hours, please call the clinic at 406-478-6887. We often have a veterinarian on call but cannot always provide emergency services 24/7.  In those cases where there is no veterinarian available we recommend calling Flathead Pet Emergency in Kalispell at 406-257-6870 or the Pet Emergency Center in Missoula at 406-829-9300.

Payment is required at the time services are provided.  Unfortunately we are not able to provide payment plans.  We do however accept Care Credit which acts as a payment plan through a secondary agency.

We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and CareCredit as a payment option.

Yes, we gladly work with all the major pet health insurance companies submitting forms and invoices as required for you to be reimbursed.

Vaccines are required for inpatient care at our veterinary clinic to protect all pets from highly contagious and preventable diseases that can spread in a shared environment. This ensures the safety of every animal, including those that may be young, elderly, or immunocompromised, while also safeguarding our staff and visitors from zoonotic diseases like rabies and leptospirosis. By maintaining strict vaccination policies, we create a safer, healthier space for every pet in our care and the humans that love them.

Drs John, Lissa and Cathy specialize in the care of dogs, cats, and small mammals (such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets). Dr. Steve sees the above listed animals as well as farm animals (horses, cattle, pigs, goats and sheep). If you have an exotic pet, please contact us to confirm if we can assist or refer you to a specialist.

We recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure we can provide your pet with the time and attention they deserve. However, we do accommodate walk-ins based on availability. Please understand that emergency cases and pets with an appointment are prioritized.
