Cathy Lambert, DVM
Dr. Cathy graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She received a Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Idaho in 1991.
Prior to starting her career in Veterinary Medicine, she and her husband bred, raised, and showed Alaskan Malamutes, primarily along the western states of Washington and Oregon. She began her career practicing in the small town of Troy, Idaho, focusing primarily on small animal medicine, but also was involved in the herd maintenance of a 100+ buffalo herd. Shortly after this, in 1996, she and her husband moved to Malta, Montana, where she owned and operated a primarily small animal, with some equine, practice until 2006. She then moved back to the west coast, practicing in Washington and Oregon and Idaho, before returning to Montana in 2022.
In late 2022, she began practicing with Dr. Nancy Haugan and Dr. Steve Vredenburg at Mountain Vista Veterinary Services, where she continues to practice primarily small animal medicine. She finds small animal medicine challenging and very fulfilling.
